On January 1, 2021, according to the UK Government's announcement after Brexit, the AC to DC adapters selling into the UK market (England, Wales and Scotland) must comply with the UK conformity assessment and adapter body should be labeled with the “UKCA”mark to meet the latest UK safety standards and regulatory requirements. Therefore, as a leading safety standard power supply manufacturer, we are very glad to inform that Zhenhuan and Keysun have taken on fully to acquire the BS 62368-1 (UKCA certification) for audio/video, information and communication technology equipment now.

The UK market can still accept products with the CE mark until December 31, 2021. However, starting January 1, 2022, the ac/dc power adapters sold in the UK with only the CE mark will not be recognized, and the UKCA mark will be required in the UK market for an imported product to be sold legally and be placed on the product body, packaging or document before December 31, 2022. But from January 1, 2023, the UKCA logo must be marked on the adaptor body. If power adaptor comply with both the UK conformity assessment and the EU regulations, both UKCA and CE logos may be marked.

Last week, Zhenhuan and Keysun acquired the qualification of UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking for all “KSXXDU”series AC DC power supplies products that comply with the CE declaration. Moreover, Zhenhuan and Keysun began using the UKCA mark on standard power supply products produced after September of 2021. So customers can use the “KSXXDU” standard power supply products confidently for terminal applications and safety sell them to the global market.
